ATLANTA, GA – June 2, 2026 – SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SpaceWorks), a leading aerospace engineering and technology company, today announced an agreement with Southern Launch, Australia’s premier space mission service provider. The agreement engages Southern Launch to provide comprehensive services, including regulatory approvals and range coordination, for the landing and recovery of multiple SpaceWorks RED reentry capsule missions at the Koonibba Test Range in South Australia.
The first recovery operation under this agreement will support SpaceWorks’ upcoming Commercial Orbital System for Microgravity Crystallization (COSMIC) demonstration mission. COSMIC is funded in part by a NASA TechLeap Prize and a NASA SBIR Phase III contract focused on recovery operations.
