ATLANTA, GA – May 13, 2026 – SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. is happy to announce Kingfisher™, a new store separation analysis and visualization tool designed to help engineers assess store release dynamics and evaluate aircraft and crew safety.
Kingfisher was developed under a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract in collaboration with the U.S. Navy, addressing the need for a modern, flexible solution to evaluate store separation performance throughout the design lifecycle.
This tool combines a high-fidelity 6 degree-of-freedom solver, advanced post-processing and visualization capabilities, with an efficient, user-focused workflow that can be executed via GUI or the command line. Users can explore simulation outputs through Data Explorer and leverage SimViz, powered by Unreal Engine 5, to generate high-quality visualizations that support deeper insight into separation behavior and system performance.
SpaceWorks continues to expand its portfolio of advanced aerospace software and engineering solutions for government and commercial customers, with Kingfisher representing a key addition in store separation analysis.
